Embracing Diversity brings together more than 30 outstanding works from the China National Academy of Painting, one of China’s most prestigious institutions for contemporary painting and artistic exchange.

Hosted by HANRAD Gallery in collaboration with the China Cultural Centres in Wellington and Auckland, the exhibition is part of the China National Academy of Painting International Art Dialogue Exhibition touring New Zealand. Hamilton is one of only four cities selected to host this significant international exhibition.

Supported by the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in New Zealand (Cook Islands and Niue), the exhibition offers audiences a rare opportunity to encounter a diverse range of artistic perspectives from China and explore the dialogue between tradition, contemporary practice and cultural diversity.
