Charlie Rose is an Aotearoa-based musician, multi-instrumentalist and co-founder of Little Weird, an electronic soul project blending rich synths, bass-driven grooves, vocal harmonies and elements of funk, hip-hop and reggae.

Alongside her own musical practice, Rose creates original music for visual art and immersive experiences. She composed an original soundtrack for an Air World inflatable artwork created in collaboration with the Balloon Museum, supporting its international touring presentation in the UK and USA.

Her work demonstrates a natural ability to translate visual ideas, atmosphere and movement into sound, creating music that becomes part of the artwork itself rather than simply accompanying it. This interdisciplinary approach reflects Rose’s interest in the space between music, contemporary art and immersive experience.

For COW, Rose has also created a short original musical work inspired by The Rocky Horror Show, connecting Hamilton’s creative history with a playful contemporary sound experience.
