AIR WORLD is an experimental inflatable art platform by HANRAD Gallery, with its inflatable art lab based in Shenzhen. Working at the intersection of contemporary art, design and immersive spatial experience, AIR WORLD explores the possibilities of air as an artistic medium — transforming scale, form, movement and space.

The platform develops and presents large-scale inflatable artworks that challenge conventional ideas of sculpture and installation. Lightweight yet monumental, these works can transform galleries, public spaces, commercial environments and unexpected urban settings into playful and immersive encounters.

AIR WORLD’s projects explore how inflatable structures can alter our perception of architecture and space, creating moments that are simultaneously surreal, accessible and visually striking. The works invite audiences to move around, interact with and experience sculpture at an entirely different scale.

From Nebula, an inflatable sculpture commissioned for the Beijing Auto Show, to the playful Pink Pillows, AIR WORLD continues to experiment with the relationship between art, design, air and architecture.

Through collaborations with artists, designers and creative partners, the platform aims to develop new possibilities for inflatable art and bring contemporary spatial experiences to audiences across different cities and cultural contexts.
